English Language minimum for postgraduate study
You will need NCEA Level 3 at Merit, or IELTS 6.5 overall, GCSE English C or 4 or an equivalent qualification: Check which English language qualifications we accept.
Applicants who have studied in New Zealand for at least two years to complete an undergraduate degree or one year to complete a Masters degree, where the medium of instruction was English, are not required to undertake further English language tests.

National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) with a minimum of 80 credits in total with 60 credits at level 3.

NZCSE subject-specific requirements:

NCEA: Excellence in three 20 credit subjects and 20 credits at no less than Merit, all at level 3
